General Terms and Conditions for the Collection, Use, and Processing of Patients’ Personal Data

FILIP ANDREAS PANIĆ PR NORDICA AESTHETICA (hereinafter also referred to as: “NORDICA AESTHETICA”)

The privacy and trust of patients are of great importance to NORDICA AESTHETICA as the Controller of your personal data. This is reflected in the way we collect and process Patients’ data. Patients are advised to carefully read the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions to make an informed decision about which data they wish to share with us. When scheduling appointments for the use of our services, NORDICA AESTHETICA will collect certain personal data from patients for the purpose of providing the requested service. All activities of NORDICA AESTHETICA related to the collection and processing of the Patient’s personal data will be carried out in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia and other applicable regulations.

The collected data will be used exclusively for the purpose of scheduling appointments for service provision and for our marketing activities.

NORDICA AESTHETICA, as the controller of your personal data, shall be held liable if it processes your personal data in a manner that is contrary to the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia.

In accordance with Article 26 of the Law, you have the right to request from the controller access to your data, the right to rectification or erasure of your personal data in accordance with Articles 29 and 30 of the Law, the right to restriction of processing in accordance with Article 31 of the Law, the right to data portability in accordance with Article 36 of the Law, as well as the right to object in accordance with Article 37 of the Law.

You also have the right, in accordance with Article 82 of the Law, to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data has been carried out contrary to the provisions of the Law.

Privacy Protection Policy

NORDICA AESTHETICA respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal data.

a) Types of Personal Data We Collect and How We Use Them

With your explicit consent hereby given, we collect the following data: your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.

Your provision of data is entirely voluntary, meaning you are free to decide whether to provide us with your data and which data to share. If you choose not to provide certain data that is necessary for the provision of services or for concluding the Agreement, we reserve the right to refuse to provide you with services. You may request at any time that your data not be used for marketing activities, and this will not affect the continuation of our contractual relationship.

Data that can identify you will not be used for any purposes other than those for which you have given explicit consent.

b) Third Parties

NORDICA AESTHETICA will not sell, distribute, disclose, or otherwise make your personal data available to anyone without your explicit permission, except (i) if you have consented to this in accordance with these General Terms to access the desired services, and (ii) if we are obligated to do so by legal regulations or decisions of competent authorities.

From time to time, we may engage other legal or natural persons to perform certain functions on our behalf (e.g., engaging external collaborators for email transmission). In such cases, they will have limited access to your personal data (for example, only your email address) solely to perform the tasks for which they were engaged and in accordance with your consent for the processing of your personal data. They are not permitted to use the data for any other purpose. In these cases, we always enter into confidentiality agreements with service providers to ensure that your data remains secure and is handled properly.

Your personal data will not be transferred outside the Republic of Serbia, except in cases where reasonable and necessary measures have been taken to ensure an adequate level of protection of your personal data, in accordance with the Law.

c) Updating Your Personal Data

As the Controller, we will need your assistance to ensure that the personal data you have provided to us is accurate and up to date.

If you wish to modify or update your personal data, or if you want us to delete your data from our database, you may do so by visiting us in person or by sending a written request to the address: Sarajevska Street No. 66, Unit 1, Beograd – Savski Venac.

Upon your request, we will remove from our database all personal data you have provided to us. After we receive your request for deletion of personal data, we will no longer retain any of your personal data, unless otherwise required by the regulations applicable in the Republic of Serbia.

We will retain your data for as long as you remain in a contractual relationship with us, or while you are using our services.

Automated decision making, including profiling, as any form of automated processing used to assess a particular personality trait, may be applied to you only in exceptional cases and under the conditions and in the manner referred to in Article 38 of the Law, as well as in accordance with the purpose of the Law and its protective provisions relating to persons whose data are protected.

d) Security

Your data is stored in a password-protected database and specially secured lockers. NORDICA AESTHETICA as the Operator of your data will take all precautions (to a reasonable extent) to ensure the security of your data. 

Although we make every effort to protect your personal information, we cannot unconditionally guarantee the security of the information you provide to us, so you do so at your own risk.

e) Publication of changes to the General Terms and Conditions

NORDICA AESTHETICA will promptly notify you of any changes to these General Terms and Conditions by posting them at the clinic and/or sending them to your email address prior to their effective date. As usual, if you do not agree with the changes to the General Terms and Conditions, you always have the option to request the deletion of your personal data from our database.
